The serpent deceives Eve. Adam and Eve transgress the Divine
command, and fall into sin and misery.] Psalm 32 [The happiness of a pardoned sinner. The misery that went before, and the comfort that followed the confession of sins. Sinners instructed, believers encouraged.] Romans 5:12-19 [The fall of Adam brought all mankind into sin and death. The grace of God, through the righteousness of Christ, has more power to bring salvation, than Adam’s sin had to bring misery.] Matthew 4:1-11 [The temptation of Christ.] |
